Daylight DC1 Bootloader Unlock Guide

This guide will walk you through the process of unlocking the bootloader on your Daylight DC1 tablet. Please note that unlocking the bootloader will erase all data on your device. It is highly recommended to back up your data before proceeding.

Requirements:

• Daylight DC1 tablet
• USB-C cable
• Computer with ADB and Fastboot installed (opens in a new tab)

Steps:

Enable Developer Options:

Go to Settings > About tablet.

Tap the Build number seven times to enable Developer options.

Enable OEM Unlocking:

Go to Settings > Developer options.

Toggle on OEM unlocking.

Enable USB Debugging:

Go to Settings > Developer options.

Toggle on USB debugging.

Connect to PC and Reboot to Bootloader:

Connect your tablet to your computer via a USB cable.

Open a terminal or command prompt on your computer.

Run the command adb reboot bootloader to reboot your DC1 into the bootloader mode.

Unlock Bootloader:

Once in bootloader mode, run the command fastboot flashing unlock to unlock the bootloader.

Immediately, use the volume up key to select the "Unlock the bootloader" option to confirm.

Reboot to System:

After unlocking the bootloader,

run the command fastboot reboot to reboot your tablet back into the system.
